Choosing Categories

Start by choosing categories that match your expertise. This helps narrow down the vast pool of available jobs to ones that actually make sense for your skillset.

Adding Keywords

Add your keywords - these are the terms that signal a perfect match. Think of the specific technologies, services, or skills that define your ideal projects. But don't forget the flip side: exclude keywords for anything that definitely isn't a fit. This saves you from wasting connects on projects that were never going to work out.

Fine-Tuning Filters

Use the comprehensive filters on the left side to describe your ideal project and client. You can specify job duration, budget ranges, client preferences, and hiring criteria. These filters ensure you only see opportunities that match your business model.

Enabling Getmany Score

Here's a pro tip: turn on Getmany Score and set your minimum threshold. This proprietary scoring system evaluates job quality, so you're only bidding on opportunities worth your time.

Step 2: Configuring Bidding Settings

Now for the automation magic! Setting up your bidding preferences is simple and intuitive.

Team and Schedule Settings

Choose your team and freelancer on behalf of whom proposals will be sent, select the freelancer profile type, and set your bidding schedule.

Want to maintain momentum even when you're offline? Turn on Auto Reply and Getmany will send your pre-configured message to keep conversations warm when clients respond.

Terms and Boosting

In this section, set your hourly rate and fixed price preferences.

If you want extra visibility on high-quality opportunities, enable Proposal Boosting – it'll only activate for jobs that meet your chosen Getmany Score threshold.

AI Settings

This section contains three key components that control how AI handles your proposals.

First, select your preferred AI model and version. This determines which AI engine will craft your cover letters.

The AI Guidance field is where you describe your ideal cover letter persona. Define your tone of voice, preferred length, and specific words you always want to include or avoid. Think of this as training your personal writing assistant.

The AI Decision Maker field adds context that keyword filters can't capture. Here you can specify preferences like "avoid jobs without clear requirements or short descriptions" or "prioritize long-term partnerships over one-off projects."

Cover Letter Builder

Choose one of the templates to see how formatting works. Plain text stays the same each time, while anything inside double brackets is dynamic - these are your directions to AI. For example [[pick best portfolio link]] or [[add call-to-action]]. You can add anything you want to your cover letter this way.

Edit, save, and preview your templates instantly to see exactly how they'll look.

Client Questions

Build a knowledge base by adding 12-15 full answers to common questions. When clients ask for details, AI will pull from these responses to provide consistent, professional answers.

Attachments

Upload any files you want included with your proposals. This could be portfolio samples, case studies, or any other materials that strengthen your applications.

Application Alerts

Turn on alerts for successful and failed applications so you're always in the loop about your bidding activity.
